]]> Sally and Frank envisioned something different for their wedding celebration and decided to head south of the border to tie the knot. They reserved a spot on the beach at the luxury all-suites, all-inclusive resort The Royal Playa del Carmen, Mexico on Friday directly following Thanksgiving and invited family and friends to join them. Guests started to arrive early in the week to take advantage of some much needed sun and warmth escaping the start of winter back home.

Thanksgiving Day marked the night of the rehearsal dinner. Sally and Frank had graciously invited everyone to dine at Maria Marie an upscale gourmet Mexican-French fusion restaurant where each guest could enjoy well prepared steaks, fish or seafood entrees. The night continued with drinks at  the Tequileria and Cigar Club Bar before everyone returned back to their suites to relax and prepare for the important day.

Sally started her wedding day at Spazul, the hotel Spa for hair and make-up while Frank together with his friends enjoyed lunch at Asiana. The wedding guests met up by the pool for a cocktail before taking their seats beautifully decorated with orange organza sashes provided by Especially Yours Chair Covers. Sally walked down the aisle to classic guitar music and Julio and his team from ImageLife Gallery captured the moments on both still photography and video. Following the ceremony guests were treated to cocktails and hors d'oeuvres on the beach while listening to the tunes of a traditional Mariachi band while watching an amazing sunset.

After an amazing filet and lobster dinner Sally and Frank surprised their guests with a well rehearsed Argentinean Tango as their first dance that inspired everyone to continue to fill the dance floor until the last tune of the night!

Moon Mountain Retreat - Sonoma, CA

Jennie and Chris hosted their sunset wedding in the beautiful Sonoma hill side location, the Moon Mountain Retreat on Saturday, June 28, 2008 for 100 family members and close friends.  

Guests started trickling in around 6pm and Gianni with staff from Pacific Coast Events were ready to serve cold refreshments took keep guests relaxed until the start of the ceremony.  While Jennie and the girls got ready in the lower suite of the main house, Chris enjoyed a drink on the porch with his good friend Ken Paulsen who was about to officiate for his first time and was competing with the groom on being nervous...

Ken started up the procession and the best man Ed played the guitar while Jennie & Chris were joined at the top of the steps and together walked down the aisle to say their I-do s. The ceremony was followed by a heavy hors d'oeuvres reception with a wonderful spread of delicious food prepared by Gianni and plenty conversation to be had. To top of the gourmet experience, Jennie & Chris' good friend Stephen Marchi had baked the most divine cup cakes and a small cake to top the cupcake tree for the bride & groom to cut during the cake cutting ceremony.
